The Gibson ES-137 model is a collective of innovate changes employed throughout generations of trial and error to produce a top tier guitar. The ES-137 is said to be a combination of the feel of traditional style semi-hollow single cutaway guitar and the sound of a Les Paul Classic. The ES-137 features an internal mahogany center block inside the body. This design eliminates standard feedback found in hollow body designed guitars. The ES-137 also has a 490R pickup for the neck and a 498T pickup for the bridge. These are the same pickups you might find on a Les Paul Studio or Les Paul Custom!
