Heather Houseman has been teaching cello in Marin County for ten years. She began playing cello at the age of four and studied music privately throughout her primary education. She continued to study cello in college as a performance major at San Diego State University. After moving back to the Bay Area, she promptly began instructing at a middle school as a cello consultant, as well as teaching private lessons.
Heather is happy to help students of all ages reach their musical goals in playing cello. She believes that playing music should be an enjoyable experience and strives to keep lessons something to look forward to. She currently teaches out of her home studio but is also available to travel to students’ homes for an additional fee.
